Thomas A. Wood

Thomas A. Wood, 82, retired lawyer, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Tom was born November 29, 1931, in Palo Alto, CA to Gerald and Helen Wood. He graduated from Washburn University Law School in 1954, and practiced law in Wichita for over 50 years. Survived by wife, Marilyn; children Janet, Dale (Patty), Bill, Richard (Laura) Wood; grandchildren Cassandra and Michelle MacMahon; John, Nicole and Mike Wood; great-grandson Max Kole; brother David (Virginia) Wood and family; sister-in-law Connie Nelson and family; step-brothers Sam and Walter Hawkey and families, and niece Emily Gonzales and family. Family will gather later for private services. In lieu of flowers and formal service, a memorial has been established with Inter-Faith Ministries, 829 N. Market, Wichita, KS 67214.
