Hackley, Thomas, 55, newly retired Cessna manufacturing engineer, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015. Visitation 1-7 p.m. (family present 4-7) Monday, at Smith Mortuary-Mulvane; funeral service 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central. Tom was a graduate of Plattsmouth High School in Nebraska, and was a devoted Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. He loved boating and camping, southern rock, motorcycles, and his country. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Thomas Hackley. Survived by wife of nearly 33 years, Vickie; daughters Nicole Hackley and Kayla (Aaron) Walker; mother Linda Kindler; sister Deana Gast; brother Scott Millington; best friend Daniel Hester; and doggie-daughter Chloe. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the American Legion Riders Chapter 136, c/o American Legion Post 136, 410 SE Louis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110.
