Thomas Michael Dzatko

February 20, 1955 — May 1, 2012

Dzatko, Thomas, age 57, passed away on May 1, 2012, after a long illness. Tom was a retired Master Plumber and he was the founder of Derby Plumbing and A Good Plumber, Inc. We are sure that he is now in heaven selling halos to angels. Anyone who knew Tom had their life touched in a positive way. He is now free. Free from all of his burdens and pain. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Romans 8:18). Tom was born on February 20, 1955, in Pittsburgh, PA, to Andrew and Gloria (Cardinale) Dzatko. He is survived by his best friend and wife Karen Dzatko, beloved son Michael Dzatko, mother Gloria Lucero, father Andrew (Anita) Dzatko, brothers Mark Dzatko and Andy (Diana) Dzatko, sisters Mary Ann (Mitch) Kuchta, and Peggy Hepler, uncle Joe (Barbara) Cardinale, aunt Louise Stura, cousins Georgieann (Scott) Duerr, Paul Stura, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service 2 pm Friday, May 4, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Union Rescue Mission, 2800 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
