Thelma D. Massions, age 92, retired Boeing employee, passed away May 8, 2017. She was a dedicated wife and mother and will be greatly missed.Visitation 1-8pm; family present 5-7pm Thursday, May 11, at Smith Mortuary – Derby, 1415 N. Rock Rd; Recitation of the Rosary 10am; Funeral Mass 10:30am Friday, both at St. Mary Catholic Church 2300 E Meadowlark Rd, Derby, KS 67037. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Cora Howe; husband, Vince. Thelma is survived by her children, Karen (Juan) Mendez, Steve (Trela) McDonald, Patte (Frank) Kline; step-children, Sandie Yarbrough, Denny Massions, Diane Clarke; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grand children; 11 great-great grandchildren; neice and nephew. A memorial is with the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
