Terry Rutter

Terry Rutter, 61, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2025. He was born October 8, 1963 to Dwayne and Winnie Rutter in Brownwood, Texas.

Preceded in death by his fathers, Dwayne Rutter and Ace Pilcher; grandparents, Vere and Hazel Rutter and Dorothy and Ralph Taylor. Survivors include wife, Peggy Rutter; children, Veena Rutter, Ethan (Shannon) Rutter, Justin Reynolds, Cody (Annie) Reynolds, Samantha Linnebur, Josh and Jed King, RY Vansickle; mothers, Winnie Kilts, and Sharon Pilcher; many sisters and brothers, Gina Rutter and Philip. The Kilts, Chris and Tammy Hummel; grandchildren, Taylor, Lilly, Lucas, Korbin, Rebecca, Nathan, Bria, and Rylan and aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews and many extended family and friends.

Visitation with family is 5:00 to 7:00pm Tuesday, July 29, 2025 and funeral service is 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2025 both at Smith Family Mortuary, 501 SE Lewis Blvd., Mulvane, KS 67110. A luncheon follow at the Udall community building.
