Teresa “Michelle” (Kimzey) Moore of Augusta, Kansas was welcomed to her eternal home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. Michelle was born on May 3, 1958 to Jerry and Melba (Condon) Kimzey. She was raised in Wichita, KS and graduated from Wichita High School South. She married the love of her life, Michael Moore, on May 20, 1978. They were blessed with three children, Timothy, Jenifer, and Benjamin.

In addition to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter and sister, Michelle had a gift for writing and teaching. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Friends University in Education, and a Master’s Degree from Kansas State University. She taught at Midway Baptist School and Curtis Middle School, both in Wichita, KS. She later taught English for Speakers of Other Languages in the Francis Howell School district in St. Charles County, MO. She retired from teaching in May, 2018. However, most recently she was teaching her grandchildren in Benson, AZ and Topeka, KS via online classes.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Kimzey. She is survived by, her husband, sons Timothy (Tamra) of Lahoma, OK and Benjamin (Jeni) Moore of Topeka, KS, her daughter Jenifer (Richard) Garza of Benson, AZ, her mother, Melba Kimzey, sisters Charlene Alexander and Jerri Smith, grandchildren Mya (Tyler) Fury, Tyler Moore, Xaden Moore, Tobi Moore, Teresa Garza, Logan Garza, Jackson Garza, Eva Garza, Hannah Garza, Levi Garza, Joben Moore, Sawyer Moore, Takoda Moore, Sierra Moore, one great granddaughter Nova Fury, and a second great granddaughter expected in December.
