Ted Max Waggoner

Ted M. Waggoner 87, of Belle Plaine, Ks. passed away on August 19, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center. Ted was born November 15, 1933 in Wellington, Kansas. the son of Frank and Lavonta Waggoner. Ted was raised and educated in Belle Plaine. He served his country from 1955 to 1957 during the Korean War with the U.S. Navy. After his discharge he returned to Belle Plaine. Ted retired from Boeing after 38 years and was a lifetime farmer in the Belle Plaine area.

He is survived by his son Carl Monty Waggoner and family, wife Belinda Lee Waggoner and family, two biological grandchildren Sarah N. Waggoner and Joshua D. Waggoner, and several biological great grandchildren.

He is preceded death by Jimmy Mike Waggoner (son),Nancy Waggoner (wife), LaRae Waggoner (wife), Lola Maxine Waggoner (wife), Mary Waggoner (wife), Frank Melvin Waggoner (brother), Maxine Oleson (half sister), Jamie Waggoner (grandson), Evan Waggoner (great-grandson), and James Waggoner (great-grandson).

Graveside service will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Belle Plaine Cemetery Belle Plaine, KS.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to. The American Lung Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
