Taren "TJ" Fry unexpectedly went to be with his Lord on December 27, 2021. TJ was 34 years young.
He is survived by his children, Bella Fry and Jayden Gonzalez of Wichita; his mother Kelly Hartung (Mike) of Rose Hill; his father, Larry Fry (Amy) of Bel Aire; his sister, Kelsey Fry of Derby; stepbrothers, Andrew and David Schrader, Zachary Burdick; stepsisters, Madison Jordan, Rylee Burdick of Bel Aire, Stephanie Hartung and Jessica Ashlock of Wichita.
TJ was a graduate of Heights High School in Wichita, where he excelled in both baseball and soccer. TJ attended Barton County Community College on a soccer scholarship and earned his Associates Degree. TJ Also completed a course in transportation and earned his CDL. TJ loved sports, not only evidenced by his passion when playing but also in his unwavering support for his favorite teams, the Miami Hurricanes, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks. We ask that if you want, please wear a shirt or jersey of one of TJ's favorite teams.
Service will be 3pm Saturday, January 8th at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby. Celebration of life to be held at Round Barn Ranch, 9445 S Woodlawn, Derby from 5pm to 8pm.
