Susan Annette Mourer

Susan “Sue” Mourer, 61, died on December 6, 2020 at her residence

in Belle Plaine. She was born May 28, 1959 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of James and Wahnettah (Cousins) McQuilken. She was raised in Wichita and graduated from Campus High School in 1977. She was a beautician for the majority of her working career. On February 24, 1995 she married Lance Mourer, a devout husband of 25 years, and he survives. Other survivors include her son, Anson Burris; grandchildren, Blake, Brianna, Jordyn and Kysen; brother, James McQuilken Jr.

Those that preceded her in death include her mother, Wahnettah; father, James; brother, John; daughter, Sabrina; grandson, Kegan.

Viewing will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Smith Mortuary-Mulvane from 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Littleton Cemetery, 1588 E. 130th Ave. N., Mulvane, KS on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1 p.m.

It will be an outdoor service so everyone is welcome to attend. Masks are not required but encouraged to promote safety for all parties in attendance.
