Susan Jane Ashlock

Suzie was carried into Heaven on Wednesday September 30, 2015, while being embraced by her daughters Tema and Amanda. She was greeted in Heaven by her Father and Mother, Everett and Pat Abbott, and her Husband Monte Ashlock. Suzie was an employee of Mulvane Family Med Centers for almost 20 years. To know Suzie was a true blessing, but those who were able to love her were gifted with the greatest blessing of all. She is remembered here on Earth and loved more everyday by those who miss her most, her Oldest Daughter Tema Travis and her Husband Scott, with their Sons Axton, Aidyn and Alyjah, all of Mulvane; her Youngest Daughter Amanda Ashlock and her Husband Eugene, with their Son Pollux, all of Portland Oregon; and her two Sisters Robin Moczulski of Antioch California and Sharon Abbott of Decatur Alabama.

A memorial fund has been established with Harry Hynes Hospice of Wichita Kansas in her memory. Although cancer derailed her journey a bit, Grace, Love, and Light are the winners of this battle as that is how she will always be remembered. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, at First Presbyterian Church of Derby. Friends are welcome to come at 10:00 a.m. to visit with the family.
