Sue C. Thompson 78, passed away November 2, 2015. Sue was born in Minden, Nebraska to Nina and Gene Podewitz on July 11, 1937. She married Raymond Dean Thompson, November 22, 1957. She was a legal secretary from 1962 to 1974, at which time she was co-owner and Vice President of Ray’s Petroleum Equipment from its opening until her retirement in 2006. Surviving are her daughters, Debra Knight and Kris McElhiney; and son David (MaryAnne)Thompson, all of Wichita; seven grandchildren, Dale (Kelly) Knight, Amy (Michael) Brown, Bethany (Andy) Orozco, Rosalie (Josh) Krenger, Rebekah McElhiney, Jacob McElhiney, Ethan Thompson; five great-grandchildren, Carolanne Knight, Abel Orozco, Samantha Brown, Meryn Knight and Iliyana Orozco.

Viewing: 1-8pm Thursday, November 5, 2015, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service: 10am Friday, November 6, 2015, also at the mortuary. A memorial is established with the American Lung Association. Burial will be in Maize Park Cemetery.
