Sue Kay Britt

Sue Kay (Maninger) Britt, 73, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. She will be remembered as a legendary mother, wife and friend. Sue was passionate about her faith and very involved in her church and BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). Many were touched by her kindness and love. Visitation 3-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, at First Baptist Church , 1020 N. 2nd Ave., Mulvane. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, John R. "Dick" and Naomi Maninger, and brother Bruce Maninger. Survived by devoted husband, Lyle; daughters Stacy (David) Hutchison, Shelly (Rick) Goscha, Sandy (Bruce) Mackey, Adrienne (Tom) Cornelius, Whitney (Derrick) Hulse, and Abby (therapy dog); siblings Richard (Jackie) Maninger, Sheryl (Wayne) Stanley, Nancy (Tom) Goodson; 16 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with First Baptist Church of Mulvane.
