Steven W. Witt

Witt, Steven W., 58, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. He was born August 28, 1956 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Steven worked at Boeing and recently retired from Spirit Aerosystems. He was known for being a hard worker and loving father to all. Steven’s ability to listen and provide good advice earned him many friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and grilling and was an avid Sooner fan and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. Steven was the rock of his family.

Steven is survived by his wife, Chris Witt; children, Brad (Amanda) Lankard, Jeremiah (Stacy) Kristek, Daniel (Jimi) Kristek, and Brett (Kassie) Witt; parents, Leon and Lucille Witt; grandchildren, Damien (Sierra) Liesmann, Patricia Bibb, Tristen Trotter, Emma Kristek, Skyden Kristek, Shyanne Kristek, Shelldan Kristek, Reagan Witt, and Maylee Witt; great-grandchildren, Myiah Liesmann and William Liesmann; brother, Kertis Witt; and nieces, Morgan and Kandie.

Visitation: 1 to 5 pm, Monday, October 20, 2014 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita, KS 67213. Funeral: 1 pm, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home, 127 S. Canadian St., Purcell, OK 73080. Interment to follow at Lexington Cemetery in Lexington, OK.
