Steven R. Chance

Steven R.Chance, age 68, of Cheney, retired Boeing Company, Electrical Engineer, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Tuesday, July 31, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville; funeral service 11 am Wednesday, August 1, Trinity United Christian Church, 416 N. Washington St., Cheney with the graveside service following at 4 pm at the Maple City Cemetery. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Nellie Chance, and his brother, Charles. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Jo Ann; son, Ray Chance, of Arkansas City; daughter, Robin Janzen (Andy), of Wichita; sister, Vickie Riggs, of San Diego, CA; and his granddaughters, Gwenyth and Carmen Janzen.
