Steven G. Boivin, age 69, of Rose Hill, retired Boeing/Spirit employee and former Cessna employee, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016. Visitation 1-8 pm Monday, November 21 with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 2 pm Tuesday, Rose Hill Christian Church, 314 N. Rose Hill Rd. Steven is preceded in death by his parents, G.L. & Jeanne Boivin and brothers, Richard and Robert Boivin and a sister, Linda Boyer. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda; daughter, Mary Lyn Harness (Butch), of Derby; brothers, Raymond Boivin (Denise), of Buffalo, NY, and Roger Boivin (Merri Ellen), of Voluntown, CT; brother-in-law, Richard Boyer, of Port St.Lucie, FL; grandchildren, Christoper Boivin, Gauge, Logan and Sophia Harness.
