Steve Woolever

Steven Woolever, 65, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was born on December 1st, 1959, to Arnold and Julia Woolever in Peoria, Illinois.

Steven held many jobs throughout his life, such as, a pharmaceutical sales representative, bowling alley manager/ Pro shop owner, and was a handyman for some amazing people. When Steve was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He liked going fishing, playing cards, having garage sales, and of course going to the casino. He also loved going to Lowe's, his home away from home, as his wife would always say. He was a great man who always had a smile on his face and was always joking around. His motto was to think positive, and you will have a great day!

Preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Robin and Deborah.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Terri; children, Cory (Holly) Leeper, Jeremy Woolever, Nicholas Woolever, Scott (Lindsey) Griswold Jr., Jennifer (Matt) Cervantes, Jason (Sachea) Griswold, Josh (Kelbi) Griswold, Stephanie (D’Marcus) Williams; 17 grandchildren; brother, Tim (Barbara) Woolever and sister, Gloria Chambers.

Visitation with family is 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, October 24th, 2025, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.

Celebration of Life will be 1:00-4:00 pm Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at the Mulvane Middle School, 915 N. Westview Dr., Mulvane, KS 67110. Please send flowers to Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.
