72, born August 10, 1945 passed away at home Friday, December 15, 2017. Memorial Service: 10:30 am, December 19th, 2017 at Haysville United Methodist Church. Steve was a hard working, kind, generous, giving, and simple man. He took great pride in his military service, serving in the United States Army from 1966-1968. He was awarded a Purple Heart while in Vietnam. Stephen retired from Vulcan Chemicals after 33 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Gertrude Kilgore.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon Kilgore; two children, Stacia Worden (Shawn) and Scott Kilgore (Tiffany); ten grandchildren, Sophia, Kayli, Jarod, Dakota, Delaney, Baylee, Brody, Mollee, Avery, Finlee; siblings, Judy Gondek, Delbert Kilgore, Jr, Marylou Pierce, Penny Hobbs. He took pride in his children and all his grandchildren and their accomplishments. Steve will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his constant companion Maggie. May he rest in peace.
