Stephanie Hill

Newton, Stephanie Lynn Hill 53, died Saturday January 4, 2025, at her residence. She was born February 6, 1971, to Stephen and Cheri Hill in Brunswick, Georgia.

She was an author of many stories on “Fan Fiction” which are still being enjoyed by many. She loved studying her Bible and attending her fellowship for services each week.

Stephanie enjoyed doing “Door Dash” and serving her Newton Community. Stephanie graduated from Derby High School in 1988 and graduated from Friends University in 2003 with high honors obtaining a Batchelor’s degree in Business. She had worked at Bunting Magnetics for over 20 years.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Charles C. and Ruth Gleason and Stephen M. and Betty Hill. Her father Stephen E Hill. One uncle James M. Gleason and Aunt Billy J.Gleason and one cousin, John S. Wiewell.

Stephanie is survived by her mother, Cheri L Hill, two sisters, Carman N. Wathen and Kristin R (Ryan) Reynolds. Nephews; Samuel A Wathen, and Michael A. Wathen. Lucky Ryan Reynolds and one niece, Berlin A Reynolds one Uncle Cecil R Gleason (Lucy), Aunt, It's Wilma Cole (Ron)and a cousin, Jeremy Wiewel ( Megan).; Bruce A Gleason (Abra), Catherine E Gleason (Egor) Lisa M Gleason (Hugh) and five great niece and nephews.

Visitation with family will be Monday, January 13, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67307.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037. Burial will be held in El Paso, Cemetery Derby, Kansas.
