Starlyn “Starr” Northern, 61, died Sunday, March 10, 2013. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Rd, Derby, funeral service 10:30am, Wednesday, St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 2555 North Hyacinth, Wichita. Starr was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Shane Martin. She is survived by husband, Bill Northern, sons, Billy, San Antonio, Texas; Josh, Wichita, grandchildren, Blake and Mackenzie; Step father, Leonard Hilyard, Sister, Sherri Pierson, Mulvane and Brother, Lenny Hilyard. A memorial has been established with Thomas Hopkins Legion Post #4, 816 North Water, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
