78, passed away Thursday, June 13th, 2024. She was born February 9th, 1946 to Paul Cunningham and Mona Bolander Cunningham in Dallas, Texas. She spent most of her life in Wichita, Kansas.

Starla loved teaching, reading and spending time with her pets. In her younger days, she loved to dance.

Through her life, she worked as a junior high and high school teacher, accountant (owning her own business), administrative professional, and photographer.

Students from Truesdell Junior High, Bishop Carroll, and East High might remember her as Ms. Ruiz.

She was preceded in death by her her parents; and her many beloved pets.

Starla is survived by her sister, Elaine Lee of Woodbridge, VA; special friends, Joann Downum, Marlene King, and Sandy Goseland; and extended family and friends.
