Stanley Carl Swope

Stanley "Stan" Carl Swope, 61, died September 18, 2017. Stan enjoyed skydiving and scubadiving. He was also a 9th degree black belt in TaeKwonDo. Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Helen Swope, first wife, Shelly Swope, brother, Earl Swope. Survivors include his wife, Maureen; son, Jeramie; step-children, Jodi Mapp (Ryan), Jonathan Bezerra, Jared Bezerra; siblings, Sheryl Nixon (Randy), Nick Swope (June), Carol Hartig (Marty), Mike Swope (Jovi), Andrew Swope; 8 grandchldren. Viewing: 3-8pm Wednesday, September 20, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service: 9:30am Thursday, September 21, 2017, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial: 3:00pm. Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.
