Stan is survived by his wife, Janet Cox; children, Sarah (Mike) Brogdin, Emily (Tyson) Brenton, Molly Cox; 5 grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth (Richard) McDonald, Barbara Schrag.He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kathy Lane.
Visitation with family and friends on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd Derby, KS 67037. Funeral Service on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Mortuary 1415 N. Rock Rd Derby, KS 67037 Burial to follow at Friends Cemetery in Rose Hill, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation or the Kansas Honor Flight.
The funeral service will be livestreamed, starting 15 minutes prior to service time.
