92, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020. Shirley was born January 19th, 1928, to Elton and Marian "Peewee" Mosier in Kalamazoo, MI. She was a graduate of K-Central class of ‘46. Shirley was an avid bowler and her team was a Kalamazoo city women’s bowling league tournament champion in 1956, 1959, and 1962. She was an excellent baker that was especially great at making pies besides raising 3 children who also turned out well. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Marian Mosier; sister, Betty Bishop; and brother, Ken Mosier. Also preceded in death were her ex-husband Lawrence Paulsen and brother and sister-in-law Harold and Yvonne Hamming. Shirley is survived by her son, Jeff (Conny) Paulsen of Wichita, KS and son Jack (Mary) Paulsen of Battle Creek, MI; daughter, Jane (Richard) VanIstendal of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Helen Paulsen, Pria (Justin) Nations, Lena Paulsen, Nick Paulsen, Jeremiah Paulsen, Ian Paulsen, Grace Ann Paulsen; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Adelaide, Jasmine; nephews, Dave Bishop, Dick Bishop, Bob Bishop, Bill Bishop, Ron Hamming, Tom Hamming, Harold Hamming Jr., nieces Beth (Randy) Schroeder and Janet (Fred) Pfau and a host of extended family members.
