Shirley Yvonne Hays

Shirley Yvonne Hays, 79, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Thursday, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby. Yvonne worked as the office manager at WSU Student Health Services. She was active in the Optimist Club with her husband, two bridge clubs, and the church, including Awanas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents Lawrence and Irene Winn; and sister Betty Swank. Survived by children Cindy Trimmell (Jerome) and Rick Hays; grandchildren Isaac and Dillon Trimmell; brothers Larry Winn and Dennis Winn, and her beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Pleasantview Baptist Church.
