Sheri Jean Sherfield

Sheri Jean Sherfield, of Mulvane, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the age of 64. She was born April 23, 1960 in Wichita, KS, to the late Johnie Sherfield and Janice (Kirk) Baca. Sheri was the 2nd oldest of five children and grew up in Mulvane.

Sheri dedicated her life to serving those in need. She was especially passionate to feeding the hungry. In addition to being a loving and caring mother to her daughter Sheyenne Blaise Sherfield, she was a devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughter Sheyenne, her siblings, Jonna (Ted) Kissinger, Bryan (Michele) Sherfield, Kevin (Sandy) Baca, Joanne Nesmith, and her stepfather Cecilio “Frank” Baca.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 19, from 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Services will be at St. Michael Catholic Church on Friday, December 20, with the Recitation of the Rosary at 2pm, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30pm.
