Shawn Erik Townson, of Mulvane, age 51, loving husband, father and son, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, February 4, Rose Hill Christian Church, 314 N. Rose Hill Road. Shawn was a service man for 30 years with Kansas Gas Service. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Alexandria Jane; and his grandparents, Evvie & Nell Townson and Lloyd & Mildred Coupal. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl; son, Brady; daughter, Natalie; parents, Gary & Sherri Townson, of Rose Hill; brothers, Greg Townson (Carol), of Shawnee, and Brian Townson (Rhonda), of Haysville; sister, Angel Tenbrook (Ivan), of Moore, OK; grandmother, Dorthea Townson, of Wichita; nieces and nephews, Sarah (Sean), Holly (Joey), Anna (Matt), Jana, Drew, Noah, Rachel, Caleb, Aaron and Emma; great-niece and nephews, Hayden, David and Grayson. A memorial has been established with the Rose Hill Education Foundation, ATTN: Library Fund, 104 N. Rose Hill RD, Rose Hill, KS 67133.
