Sharon Ann Perez

Perez, Sharon Ann, age 68, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. Sharon was born November 2, 1945 in Ft. Scott, KS. She graduated from Derby High School in 1963. In 1965, she and Richard Perez were united in marriage. Sharon worked in the aircraft industry and as a manager at McDonalds but her favorite job was being at home taking care of her family. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Lawson and Mary Lawson-Dick, her stepfather, James Dick; and brother, Ronald Lawson. Survivors include her husband, Richard; sons, Richard Perez, Jr. (Kayla), Mark Perez (Andrea), Anthony Perez (Angela); sister, Karon Ramirez; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday with family receiving friends 6-8 PM, Funeral Service 10 AM Friday, February 14, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby.
