Sharon L. Evans

Sharon L. Evans, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at home with her sons by her side. Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Sharon retired from the Wichita Police Department as a meter maid. She loved spending time with her family and pulling weeds in the yard. Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Billy, on January 5, 2017. She is survived by her sons Bryan Evans and Robbie Evans; mother Genevieve Bundy; grandchildren Kayla Evans and Kelsea Steinbacher; great-grandchildren Steffen Evans and Madison Steinbacher; sisters Cheryl, Carol, Shirley, Michelle, and Vicky. The family requests no flowers, but has established a memorial with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
