Sharon Lee Bright, 79, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026. She was born August 17, 1946 to Arthur and Geraldine Howard in Kansas City.
She enjoyed camping, taking rides on the Harley, animals, cars, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and husband.
Preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Robert; son, Derek Haas, daughter in law, Laura Haas; step daughter, Tisha Arana; step daughter, Katie Everson ( Eric) Grandchildren; Haven, Dominick, Christian, Alicia,, Baya, Cristian, John, Alicia, Selena, Ayala, Dante, Ryan and Gustavo; Great grandchildren, Nathan, Lillie, Genesis, Isaac, Selena, Adriana
Visitation with family is 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2026 and funeral service is 10:00 am Friday, March 27, 2026, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037. A 2:00 pm burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Damascus Road Ministry Center, 621 N Derby Ave, Derby, KS 67037.
