Scott Charles Whitcher

Whitcher, Scott Charles, 54, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was born October 13, 1959 to Charles and Rosalea (Funkhouser) Whitcher in Frankfurt, Germany. Scott started his career in aircraft at Boeing where he worked for over 10 years until his division was acquired by Spirit Ae rosystems. He enjoyed cooking and eating good food. In his free time, Scott enjoyed golfing, building motorcycles, and spending time with his dogs. He was preceded in death by his mother. Scott is survived by his father, Charles (Jean) Whitcher; sister, Sheryl (Don) McGreanor; and nephews, Thomas Charles Carr, Timothy Carr, and Tony Carr. Memorial Service: 10 am, Friday, April 25, 2014 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Inurnment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 1000 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67214.
