Strodtman, Scott A., 41, died suddenly and unexpectedly in a tragic accident on Friday, January 23, 2015 while working in the oil field near Ford, KS. He was born October 14, 1973 to Wayne and Pamela (Eagleton) Strodtman in Bucklin, KS. Scott graduated from Kansas State University and went to work in the aircraft industry. Scott and Deena met in 1997 and were married on May 23, 1998. Scott and Deena lived in Wichita before moving to Cheney, KS in 2004. They both became involved in the community through their children's schools and activities, meeting many new wonderful people and friends. Scott spent 6 years working in Iraq and Afghanistan in support of our troops during Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon returning home he worked at Agri Center in Hutchinson, KS and then Avtrak GlobalNet Compliance Systems in Wichita, KS before going to work with his brother, Mike Strodtman, in the oil fields of western Kansas. Scott enjoyed the time he got to spend with his brother and was happy about the extra time he got to spend with his family. Scott was a wonderful husband, father, family man, son, brother and friend. He was a country boy who enjoyed hunting, farming and the outdoors. Most of all he loved date nights with Deena and family time with his 3 children. Scott had a love for God and his country. Scott was devoted to his wife, children, family and those he loved. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ashlyn Strodtman; and father. Scott is survived by his wife of 16 years, Deena Strodtman; children, Aubrey Strodtman, Colton Strodtman, and Shelby Strodtman; mother; brother, Mike Strodtman; and grandmother, Margaret Eagleton. Funeral: 10 am, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Parkview Baptist Church, 3430 S. Meridian, Wichita, KS 67217. Interment at Ninnescah Cemetery in Udall, KS.
