Shelton, Scott D., 67, passed away late in the evening of Saturday, September 7th. He was born March 18th, 1957 to Robert and Beverly Shelton, in Wichita, Kansas
He was a wonderful husband, Brother, Father, PaPa , Uncle, Friend and fisherman. He was raised in Wichita, attended Knight Elementary, Truesdell Jr High and South High School. After a few years of working with others, he started his own business, Shelton Electric, and made a lifetime of friends through his business. He always enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His passion was trot lining for catfish. He wouldn’t fish for anything else and very seldom fished with a pole. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, his fight ended passing away peacefully at home with the love of his life, Lisa, beside him. Our hearts are broken but he is pain free and in a wonderful place.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Shelton, Jr. and nephew, Robert Shelton III. Survivors include his wife, Lisa; daughter, Melissa (Ronnie) Shelton; siblings, Mike Shelton, Barry Shelton, Lori (Jim) Terrell; grandchildren, Brandon (Leah), Bria, Arianna; great-grandchildren, Connor, Tatum, Landri, Blakeli and Brantli.
