Scarlet Avery Thompson

Scarlet Avery Thompson was born in to this world with a room full of love at 1:12AM on Monday, November 10th. She is 15 inches long and tipped the scales at 2 pounds 4 ounces. She is absolutely perfect. She has dark curly hair and her mother's beautiful dark eyes. Her skin softer than anything we've ever imagined and a wonderful new baby smell that we will never forget.

Scarlet not only had family visiting her, but staff members who had taken care of her mother, Lindsay throughout the labor process. We are blessed by the level of care and empathy that everyone has shown us, especially to our daughter.

Scarlet is surrounded by family in Heaven and her mother and father are anxious to one day reunite with her. Until then, we know that she will be watching over all of us; keeping us strong and protected.

Fly high, baby girl. Until we meet again...
