Sara Maxine Burnside, born March 29, 1923 to Percival and Gertrude Corn in Welch, OK. As a member of the Greatest Generation, she survived the Great Depression, made it through the Dust Bowl and became a Rosie the Riveter during WWII. She married Clyde Burnside in 1947. Maxine loved flowers and made sure people were well fed. She was a member of the Udall Congregational Church (Heritage Evangelical Free), Olive Club and Redbud Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda; son Philip (Robin); granddaughters and great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Clyde; parents; brothers, Ernest and Kenneth.
Graveside service: Monday, December 20, at 2 p.m. at Udall Cemetery.
