Sandra Mae Mcabee

Sandra M. McAbee, age 74, of Derby, retired Boeing Company employee, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018. Visitation 1-8 pm Thursday, December 13, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 2 pm Friday, December 14, both at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson A. "Mac" McAbee; father, James Murray; and her brother, Kent Eyman. Survivors include her daughters, Gayla Rush (Richard), of Derby, and Julie Moore (Douglas), of Rose Hill; mother, Wanda Carroll, of Derby; brothers, Randy Murray, of El Reno, OK, and Rick Murray (Shelly), Norman, OK; sisters, Jeanie Houchin (Jim), of Yukon, OK, and Pamela Castrob (Larry), of El Reno, OK; grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter (Don), Tosha Little, Carlie Williams and Clayton Carlyle; and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
