Samuel M. Logan, Jr., age 86, passed away December 27, 2013. Visitation 1-8pm Monday, December 30, with family present 5-7pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 10am Tuesday, December 31, at Haysville United Methodist Church, 601 E. Grand Ave., Haysville. Sam was born November 8, 1927 in Colony, KS to Samuel McNair (Mac) and Barbara (Williams) Logan. He served in the 11th Airborne Division of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1948. Sam married Dorothy in 1950. Aircraft brought them to Wichita where he worked at Boeing and retired from Learjet. Sam is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Pettit) Logan; brothers, Dean (Ruth) and John (Darlene) Logan; sister, Edith (Dutch) Liedtke; sister in-law, Doris Logan; son in-law, James Haslett. He is survived by his brothers, Dale of Portland, OR and Glen (Florence) Logan of Boise, ID; children, Judy Haslett, Danny (Vinene) Logan and Debbie (Rick) Davison; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) King, Chad (Jennifer) Haslett, Craig (TaBitha) Haslett, Cassi (Ryan) Pettyjohn, Leah Logan, Luke (Ivy) Logan, Darci (Bryan) Weiser and Ryne (Sara) Davison; great-grandchildren, Truman, Coy, Ramsey, Makenzie, Jackson, Easton, Auriella, Jazmyn, Trenton, Hannah, Colt, Alaina, Isaiah and Paxton.
