Samuel R. Dillon, age 80, of Wichita, retired TSGT, United States Air Force, and retired Beech Activity Center food service manager, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Visitation 1-8 PM Sunday with family receiving friends 3-5 PM, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service 2 PM Monday, January 4, 2016, Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur Rd. Samuel is preceded in death by his wife, Anita; parents, Ward & Effie Dillon; and brothers, Richard, Ward and Grady Dillon. Survivors include his daughters, Wendy Humble (Carl), Wichita, Becky Kaiser (Tom), Independence, and Marcy Winter (Mark), Wichita; stepsons, Timothy Brogan (Rosie), Jeffrey Brogan (Denise); stepdaughter, Kelly Cook (Shane); brothers, Roger Dillon (Emily), and Clifford Dillon; sisters, Evelyn Turman and Ruby Lockhart; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
