Ruth Phyllis Sage, 97, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 in Halstead, Kansas.
Ruth was born September 27, 1927 in Callaway, Nebraska, the daughter of James and Maude (Ellison) Province. She married Oral N. Sage on May 14, 1949.
Ruth worked at St. Francis Hospital for 27 years as a Nurse Assistant and Lab Assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; and by her brothers, Bob, Jack and Orville Province; and sisters, Ardis Gire, Margaret Doshier and Margie Webb.
Survivors: Sons, Larry Sage (Alice), Garry Sage (Judy), Wayne Sage; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and by 11 great-great-grandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Funeral Service: 11 am, Friday, August 22, 2025 at the mortuary.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
