Ruth Cox

Cox, Lydia “Ruth”, 75, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2014. She was born November 6, 1938 to “Moon” and Ione (Black) Robison in Kiowa, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jr. Cox; and siblings, Jim Robison and Charlotte Robison. Ruth is survived by her children, Facia (Randy) Self, Randy Cox, and Aaron (Dana) Cox, all of Douglass, KS; siblings, Roger (Janet) Robison of Kiowa, KS, Greg Robison of Wichita, KS, Eva Bergren of Kiowa, KS, Betty (Eldon) Throckmorton of Enid, OK, and Jane Oxendine of Grain Valley, MO; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a large extended family. Visitation: Sunday, 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm at Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple, Douglass, KS 67039. Funeral: 11 am, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. Macarthur Rd., Wichita, KS 67217. Interment to follow at 2 pm at Douglass Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Freewill Baptist Missions.
