Ruth E. Bode

Ruth E. Bode, 88, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born May 17, 1930 to Edward and Vina Roderick in Adamson, OK. Ruth was an award winning gardener and avid birdwatcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings; and son, David Bode. Ruth is survived by her children, Don (Margaret) Bode, John (Linda) Bode, Donna (Ken) Doramus, and Susan Gann; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, October 5, 2018, from 1 to 8 pm with family present between 5 & 7 pm. Funeral: 2 pm, Saturday, October 6, 2018, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby, KS 67037.
