Russell Joe Whiddon, age 67, of Derby, navy veteran and retired Boeing Manufacturing Engineer, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. Visitation with family 4 PM - 6 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cathy: son, Dr. Jim Whiddon (Cyndra), Andover; daughter, Carri Robison (Bob), Andover; grandchildren, Connor Guthridge, Dylan, Megan and Emma Whiddon, Blake, Bret and Braden Robison. Memorial donations to: Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218.
