Denny Seymour

Denny Seymour, 77, passed away on Thursday May 25th with his immediate family by his side.

He worked at Boeing in Industrial Engineering and then Commercial Business Management for over 30 years before he retired in 2001. He was an accomplished handyman and could fix just about anything around the house and even built his own dune buggy. You could always count on him to have a pocket knife on him to open a package or tighten a loose screw. During baseball season you could find him watching the Royals with Jeanne. Denny was also an avid boater and loved spending time with his family and friends at their lake house on Grand Lake, OK.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Jeanne, sons Jarrod (Michelle) and Jason (Jennifer), and his four grandchildren Xander, Kohen, Tyler, and Trevor.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 31st at Smith Mortuary in Derby, KS from 5-7pm. Burial and graveside service will take place the following day at the Hillcrest Cemetery at 10am.
