Ruby F. Smith

Ruby F. Smith, 70, retired Ponca Tent and Awning shipping and receiving clerk, died Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Ruby is preceded in death by husband J.D; daughter Joyce Standefer; parents James and Thelma Patterson; brother James Patterson. Survivors include her children, Roxy Shain, Royce Smith, Michael Smith, all of Wichita, Tina Mortensen and her husband Kerry of Independence, MO; Tonja Duran and her husband Joe of Goddard; sisters, Mary Ellen Patterson, Martha Ann Foltz, Sharon Kay Rice and her husband Jerry, all of Wichita; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews including Scott and Rita Rice; many other family members and friends. Viewing: 1:30-8pm Sunday, July 17, 2011. Service: 10am, Monday, July 18, 2011, both at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 South Seneca, Wichita. Burial in Old Mission Cemetery
