Ruby L. Mahlandt, of Douglass, age 92, retired bookkeeper for F&M Box Company and Mills Bookkeeping, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Visitation 1-8 PM Monday, Hilyard-Smith Funeral Home, 507 S. Maple. Funeral service 10 AM Tuesday, April 1, 2014, Douglass United Methodist Church, 204 S. Willow. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, C.E. & Lena Boucher; husband, W.C. “Bill” Mahlandt; brothers, Freddie, Ernest, Bill, George, Henry and Virgil Boucher. Survivors: brother, Jack Boucher, Burden; sisters, Martha Cody, Augusta, Ethel Rickard, Newton, and Eleanor Leap, Noble, OK; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial: Douglass Senior Center.
