Roy Ellis Sissel

Roy Ellis Sissel, age 95, retired oil well pumper, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Visitation with family 6-8 PM Tuesday, July 5, 2016, Park Place Ministry Center, 4800 W. Maple, Wichita. Roy was born January 29, 1921 at Hugoton, KS, to Frank and Dorothy Sissel. He married Leona Cowan, March 15, 1942, at Fairfax, OK. Roy is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Franklin Lee Sissel; and brothers, David, Paul, FT, Alvin, Arthur and John Sissel. He is survived by his wife, Leona; son, David Sissel, of Madison, AL; daughters, Judy Bowman, of Maize, and Beverly Kleinschmidt (Don), of Tonkawa, OK; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Park Place Ministry Center, PO Box 75035, Wichita, KS 67275.
