89, passed away Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary attended First Christian Church in Derby and also enjoyed watching New Spring church services from home. She was greatly invested in her family; especially her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. her world was her kids and grandkids and great grand kids. She never missed an activity of programs, piano recitals , dance competitions , sport events or anything the kids would be involved with. She was their biggest cheerleader. Also her biggest thrill with college sports was WSU Basketball. Rosemary was creative and in her younger years was gifted at sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Other interests of hers include bingo, Family Feud, her beloved dogs.

Preceding Rosemary in death are her parents, Charle and Blanche McIntire; husband, Virgil Skelton; and granddaughter, Brittany Taylor Stewart.

She is survived by daughters, Sheila (Bill) Stewart, Sherry (Rex) Swaney; grandchildren, Erica Stewart, Misty Swaney, Brandon Swaney, Mandy Skelton, Lindsey Swaney, Molly Wood, Blake Stewart; and great-grandchildren, Madison, Destiny, Dylan, Brooklyn, Jonah, Abriella, Hayden Rose, Emery, Paisley, and Huxton; along with a loving extended family.

Visitation will take place Thursday, August 2nd, 2018, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with family greeting friends from 5-7 pm, at Smith Mortuary, Derby, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas 67037. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at Smith Mortuary, Derby.
