Rosemarie K. Bloomgren

Rosemarie K. Bloomgren, born November 25, 1932 in Bremen, Germany, went to be with her Lord and friend Jesus on Friday, August 28, 2015. Rosemarie was a fine and devoted wife and mother. She had the gift of hospitality. She shared her love of Jesus with family, the lost, and the down trodden. Rosemarie became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America in 1967 and was very proud of that accomplishment. Rosemarie’s family includes: Donald (husband of almost 60 years); 4 daughters: Sabrina (Ron) Nibbelink of Augusta, KS; Rebecca (Kent) Ott of Mulvane, KS; Kirsten (Donavon) Decker of Peyton, CO; Heather (Aaron) Myrick of Frisco, TX; 9 grandchildren: Emily Nibbelink, Juliana (Mark) Whisman, Jessica Nibbelink, Lindsey Ott, Rachael (Nicholas) Hinton, Madison Gale (with her grandmother in heaven), Nicholas Gale, Callie Myrick, and Seth Myrick; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac, Ian, and Ivan Whisman; nephew Volker Dilly of Bremen, Germany; brother and sister-in-law Gary and Marylou Bloomgren. Memorial with Union Rescue Mission of Wichita, KS. Funeral Service 10 AM Tuesday, September 1, Mulvane Christian Church. Public visitation at Smith Mortuary in Derby, KS from 1 to 8 p.m.
