Rose Holton

Rose Marie Holton, age 95, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Visitation 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2025 with family present from 2-4 PM, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. No Services will be held.

Rose was born in Amarillo, TX to Isaac D. Davis and Roxy L. Riley.

Rose enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially gardening and fishing. She dearly loved her grandchildren and cherished time spent with them. One of her favorite weekly routines was getting her hair done, a tradition she always looked forward to.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leland Holton; her identical twin sister, Virginia Lee Baker.

Rose is survived by her sons, Dee (Pauline) Holton, Scott (Marti) Holton; niece, Linda (John) Angle; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jason) Rogers, Nikki Holton, Chris (Taylor) Holton, Angie (Kevin) Lowe, Ashlie (Matt) Brown; and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.

Rose will be interred at Kansas Veterans' cemetery with her husband, Leland.
