Ronald Tibbetts

Tibbetts, Ronald “The Bubbleman,” 62, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011. He was a scientist, public figure, and veteran of the Air Force. Our Beloved Ronnie will be greatly missed. Visitation Monday 11-4, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby; family present 2-4. Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, Winfield. He was preceded in death by his father, Merlin, and brother, Bernard. He is survived by mother, Ingeborg (Huber) Tibbetts; sisters, Nola (Guy) Spillum and Cheryl (Dirk) Baber; brother, Herbert Tibbetts; and sister-in-law Anne (Vail) Tibbetts. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Wichita Children’s Home, 810 N. Holyoke St., Wichita, KS 67208.
