Ronald Sharp

Belle Plaine – Sharp, Ronald, age 74, passed away March 15, 2018. A visitation will be Monday, March 19th from 1-8pm, family greeting 5-7pm at Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, 219 West 2nd in Belle Plaine. A Memorial service will be held at 10AM Wednesday, March 21st at The Belle Plaine United Methodist Church, 124 E 10th Ave, Belle Plaine, KS 67013. Ron retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Kansas City VISN 15 Office in October, 2000 where served as Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Martha Sharp; siblings, Lyle, Lola, Rex, Kenny, Jake, and Gladys. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Scott (Rhonda) Sharp, Wendy (Brad) Stamback, Kelli Sharp; grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Karen, Devon, Lily, Billy; great-grandchildren, Haven, Lorelei, Cameron, Zachary; siblings, Martha Wergin, Wayne Sharp, Robert Sharp; and a loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the Belle Plaine United Methodist Church.
